Prune Nourry at Bon Marché Rive Gauche
A rising figure on the international contemporary scene, Prune Nourry is taking over Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche from 9 January until February 21, 2021 with a series of works created specifically for this new carte blanche exhibition, "L'Amazone Erogène".
Her work questions notions such as genetics, gender selection, the status of women and the relationship to the female body. Each work appears as a facet of her reflection that explores the fields of science and anthropology.
"Les Dîners Procréatifs" 2009; "Terracotta Daughters" 2013; "Catharsis", 2019; "Serendipity", 2019: in recent years, Prune Nourry has presented major works that use the techniques of sculpture, performance and video. These works and the artist's career continue to resonate through the monumental work "L'Amazone Erogène", created for the Bon Marché Rive Gauche.
